SNAP and Fare For ALL
SNAP (SUPPLEMENTAL NUTRITION ASSISTANCE PROGRAM)
SNAP (formerly known as food-stamps) was designed to help income-eligible families to buy food needed for good health. SNAP benefits are deposited monthly on an electronic card that is used like a debit card, called an EBT card – the EBT card is accepted at most grocery stores and many farmers markets around Minnesota. Second Harvest Heartland’s SNAP Specialist can help you determine if you and your family are eligible for SNAP Benefits, and assist you in completing your application in-person or over the phone!
Fare For All
Fare or All is a monthly discounted grocery program. Food is separated into meat packs and produce packs, and is sold at approximately half the cost a person would pay at a retail store. EBT card is accepted here as a form of payment! For more information on locations nearest you, dates and times, please visit: https://fareforall.org/find-a-site
