Administration

Mr. Conrad earned a Bachelor of Science with a double major in Elementary Education and Physical Education, and a double minor in Secondary Math and Coaching from Valley City State University. He earned a Master of Science in Physical Education and Sports Management and a Sixth Year degree in Educational Leadership from St. Cloud State University. He taught elementary physical education and junior high math in Yuma, Arizona, and middle school math in Wahpeton, North Dakota, before beginning his career with Albany Area Schools in 1993. During his time at Albany, he has taught secondary math, elementary and secondary physical education, and K-12 adaptive physical education. He has also served as the high school’s at-risk coordinator and the district’s staff development coordinator. Prior to being named Albany Area Middle School principal, he served as Assistant Principal of Albany Area Secondary.

Mr. Conrad is married to Kathy, a fourth grade teacher in Avon. His two sons, Isaiah and Samuel, both graduated from Albany Area High School.
