Albany Huskies Athletics Hall of Fame
Albany High School is well known for its great athletic tradition and accomplishments.  The Albany Athletic Hall of Fame was established in 1996 to recognize the contributions and accomplishments of our most outstanding athletes, coaches and leaders who have helped develop our tremendous tradition.  Nominations are being requested at this time for the eighth induction which will be held in the Fall of 2022.  Nominations are welcome from any Albany Alumni, community member or supporter.  If you have nominated someone in the past and wish to submit additional information you are encouraged to do so.  Nominations are due by March 1st, 2022 to the address listed at the top of this form or can be emailed to:

Parents and athletes: Please have MSHSL forms, sports physicals and registration completed before practices begin!

(All student athletes are required to have a physical on file in the Activities Office before they will be allowed to participate in Athletics.  Physicals are good for 3 calendar years.  Most athletes get these before their 7th grade and 10th grade seasons.)

"Athletics/Activities play an important part in the educational experience at Albany Area
Schools.  Young people learn a great deal from their participation in interscholastic sports
and activities. Lessons in sportsmanship, teamwork, competition, and how to win and
lose gracefully are an integral part of each team. We believe that the opportunity for
participation in a wide variety of student selected activities is a vital part of the student's
educational experience."
